Iranian TV Channel 3 (Persian: شبکه ۳ or شبکه سه) is one of five nationally broadcast television channels in Iran. It is the third television channel created by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and started broadcasting on December 5, 1993. The channel is often referred to as the youth channel, due to its large amounts of programming dedicated to sports. The channel broadcast major Iranian sport events, mini-series, comedies, and movies (both foreign and domestic). The channel is believed to be the most popular and widely viewed of the major television channels in Iran.
IRIB 2 (Iranian TV Channel 2)
Iranian TV Channel 2 (شبكه دو in Persian), is one of five nationally broadcast television channels in Iran. It was the first television channel established in Iran, created in the 1958. As Iran's population grew, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting decided to introduce a new channel, hoping it to be a compliment to Channel 1. The channel has programming similar to Channel 1, consisting of mini-series, comedies, movies, children's shows, talk shows, and news broadcasts.
